I had major repairs (transmission plus clutch, A/C system, & tune up) done on my foreign car and it was done when he said it would be, it was 40% less expensive than the dealer quoted me, and it has run flawlessly for almost a year.
Pros: Integrity from a mechanic- very unusual, but appreciated
Cons: He isn't in SLC, but he is worth the drive
