HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE 10/30/2009

A couple of months ago my husband got me a gift cert. to D' Elegance Salon & Spa in Katy. On yesterday I called to make an appointment and the clerk booked for me for today (30-Oct). Unfortunately my 2yr old son woke up with a cough & fever so I couldn't take him to daycare and my appt for the spa was at 11. So I called the spa to reschedule and immediately the clerk told me there were no refunds & they require a 48hr notice. I explained to him that I didn't want a refund only to reschedule & I had just made the appt. the day before and he bluntly asked me what was my problem & why couldn't I come in later today, and I repeated my situation. At the end of the convo he speedily said well you have a nice day & hung up on me! So I called back to speak with managent and he told me he was the owner/ manager! I told him that his customer service skills & professionalism needed work & that I would not be recommending his place of business. I had to tell my husband that i couldn't redeem the certificate b/c there is no way I would sit in that place after being treated horribly over the phone. $200 wasted... Pros: NONE!
