My new Shih tzu is the first dog I brought to Duke. He ended up getting Parvo which the vet did not even check for even though my dog was having bloody foul smelling diarrhea. When my dog did end up saying there for 5 days due to his illness he was left alone in his cage to urinate and defecate where he ate and slept!!!! He was crate trained and almost completely potty trained before he went in. Now he will just pee anywhere. He peed and then sat in the day I brought him home and later that evening was sleeping on my chest, woke up and proceeded to pee all over me like it was nothing. Im really upset with this vet and believe I might seek a case of animal cruelty/neglegence.
