I too have been using American Taxi Dispatch for quite a while. Up until recently they showed up fine every time, no problems. Then things have started to go down hill. The only thing I can think if is that they maybe changed ownership. \r

I want to say I'm not stranger to using taxis. My work sends me all over the world and my employer often hires these services for that purpose. I've taken cabs all over Asia and the Middle East and Africa. Any number of issues can arise there, but this service makes them all seem like 1st class.\r

The times are all pre-arranged. We gete confirmation numbers and info in advance. At the beginngin, they showed up fine every time, no problems. Then some major issues came up.\r

So... The taxi never shows up. I call and talk to a dispatcher said she couldn't do anything other than try to send another one within the hour. She was very very rude. I asked for the voicemail of her manager and got some guy, Bill I think. I was early, I was waiting 5 minutes before my scheduled pick up, so I don't know if they were even on my block or around the corner.\r

Then, when a cab does show up 45 minutes late, the driver is irate. He is very upset that I am paying him with a company account instead of cash or credit. The guy starts screaming at me and spitting (and also simultaneously passing gas btw) and I'm feeling just like sinking down into my seat. He was scaring me near to death and did smell heavily of smoke.\r

Eventually we leave and I arrive ate by nearly an hour.\r

Take these issues and more THEN multiply them by about 100. That is 2 or 3 rides a day for a few months. \r

I have convinced our company to end their contract with these people. They gave my payroll person a hard time. Some guy in their office was getting very threatening towards my accounts receivable guy and eventually we had to agree to another 2 months.. but then we are through.\r

Pros: they have cars
Cons: evil managment, punctuality, lack of customer service
