We recently booked a town car through Alexis Limo for a special occasion trip to and from LAX as I was taking my wife on a surprise getaway. On the outward drive, we were shocked by the poor quality of the service. The driver did not come to the door and did not help us with our luggage. The vehicle reeked of cigarette smoke. The smell was so bad that my wife felt nauseated by the time we arrived at the airport. The driver spent much of the drive either on the phone or texting, both in violation of California law. Because he was distracted on the phone, he missed two different exits, adding a total of about 30 minutes to the usual travel time to LAX. Upon our return, we promptly sent an e-mail to the management to express our disappointment with the service. Unfortunately, their response was equally as disappointing as the service. They did not apologize, but simply made excuses for the driver. I expected, at a minimum, an offer of some kind of discount for a future trip, but they offered no compensation for our 90 minutes in a smoky, veering vehicle. Although our trip with another driver from LAX home was fine, I would not trust or recommend this company.
