I am a south Indian who was raised in south India. The dosais (my spouse and I have not tried anything else) are quite authentic. Unlike other Indian restaurants which are always filled with non-Indians, this restaurant always has a lot of Indians in it. That should tell you a lot. The service and decor are also quite typical of a dosai/idli/thali restaurants in south India, which means that it can be seen as a little shabby for American standards.
Pros: authentic dosai.
Cons: odd location.
