THE ABSOLUTE BEST IN THE AREA! 8/20/2008

So that everyone knows, this is one of the best places to get a drink or have some food around NC State. It is always busy and you can see why! There are TV's all over the place, the music is loud enough to hear over the loud drinkers next to you, and students can still come in with their families. The food is really great! The wings take about 15 minutes too cook, but that is because they make them to order. The prices are the lowest you are going to find in a 50 mile radius and you still get enough to fill you up no matter what you order. The drinks are some of the best priced in the area. The bartenders are fast even when the bar is wrapped and people are standing everywhere. In regards to the service, it is as good as can be expected when you work in a place as busy as Sammy's is. They run all over getting everyone what they need and they are always fun and in a good mood. Sometimes they don't come over to the table right away, but that has only ever happened to me when they have been super busy and it seems like everyone came in and sat down all at once. In regards to the person who complained about Sammy being there to drink on his birthday, grow up and stop hating. Doesn't that say a lot about a place when the owner of a bar chooses to come to his own bar and hang out there instead of going someplace else? It thought it was great, and since you have such an issue with him being drunk on his birthday, lets see you not drink on yours. Prude! Anyway, Sammy's is the best place around NC State, for students, athletes, coaches, staff, parents, and anyone else who wants to go to a great bar with awsome food, cool waitresses, attentive bartenders, cold drinks and doesn't want to go broke doing it! Pros: BEST IN THE AREA - HANDS DOWN! Cons: Parking can be tough sometimes more
