Took the bike in for some modifications and a tune up. The explanation I got from the salesperson on what a tune up included and what I received was night and day different. The modifications were plainly apparent but the bike was delivered dirty, no noticeable effort was given to remove any dirt or rust water marks from any place on the bike. I was told the bike would be completely cleaned in a tune up. The tires had 5 lbs of air in them. These were replaced at this time and were brand new. The valve caps were missing. This was caught by me at the time I picked the bike up. They put 2 on. The chain, gears and derailleurs(sp) was as filthy and dirty as when I brought it in. I was told these would be completely disassembled or simply removed and checked completely and lubricated. I know it is my fault for not bringing this up at the point of pick up but I was the very last customer of the day and sensed it was a rush to leave. I am sure these are very nice people. They are certainly knowledgeable and do have a very nice place of business. I am hoping my experience is in the minority but the fact is that it is my experience with this shop. more
