I don't know how this gem survived all these years...there's nothing around it but Hi-rise condos, a hotel parking garage and some over-priced eateries (it's right behind The Cheesecake Factory). We spent a wonderful hour touring and being entertained by a very knowledgeable guide--he really looked old enough to have known the people who lived in the house. Stranahan House is quaint and quirky...an enchanting was to spend a rainy afternoon.
Pros: Very unique, excellent restoration
Cons: Parking!
