Saw a sign on U.S. 41 near Boswell advertising the Boswell Motel. As we approached the motel - what we saw was a disappointment as we were tired and in need of resting, but not at this motel. The motel was closed and looked like it had been abandoned for years. What a pitful site and a pity, as it had been the only motel in the county, which is now growing due to the growth of the Fowler Ridge Wind Farms. We saw hundreds of wind turbines erected and in the process of being erected along U. S. 41 bypassing the town of Boswell. Where were the construction employees lodging we pondered? Twenty minutes later we found lodging in Attica. A river town with some very unique stately homes.
