Service level at facility is acceptable, but the billing practices are unacceptable. Service is performed under the the name MRI Central Pearland, but billing is done through American Health Imaging which was not an approved healthcare provider under my insurance plan. They have steadfastly refused to send a bill to my insurance company under MRI Central Pearland, an approved company under my insurance. My insurance will not pay at the 90% - 10% split since it it billed under American Heath Imaging. We are having to pay at 50%. We have been trying to get American Health Imaging to bill our insurance under the correct name, but they have not. American Health Imaging sent our account to a third party collection agency. We are still attempting to get them to bill properly, but now have to pay the collection agency and hope our insurance company will reimburse us the difference.
Pros: Service is at acceptable level.
Cons: Deceptive billing practices.
