Went here for a weekday lunch during a recent trip home to Houston (I live in NY). The food was tasty as it customarily is when I dine at Cheesecake Factor - delicious rigatoni, good (not phenomenal) guacamole (this is Texas, there's better guac to be found elsewhere) & an absolutely luxurious & yummy Godiva Chocolate Cheesecake that was heavenly sinful (even when split 3 ways).! That being said, all would've been enhanced if our server was a bit more friendly. Oh he wasn't directly rude but geez, a few smiles, just one smile or even a few friendly words said by an unsmiling face would've been better than the chilly air we received from our waiter. He wasn't very attentive & eventually, asking him for things felt like we were inconveniencing him! Now he DID oblige us when he asked him to take our photo but holy moly, for his sake I hope he was just having a bad day or something. If we didn't already enjoy this franchise's food, I would maybe hesitate before returning here. But given the trusty Cheesecake Factory name, we would probably come back!
Pros: wide selection of delicious lunch choices, CHEESECAKE
Cons: good not great guac, less-than-friendly service
