I like to try new places everytime I go out and I like to have a good time. I can't tell you the number of times I've went to other places in Queens and Manhattan and ended up treking right back to Bartinis even if it means me getting there at 2 am cuz I know for sure that those 2 hours will be worth it--> the music, the drink and the atmosphere is soo soo great.
The bouncers at the door are very nice and once when an overseas friend was visiting and had sneakers on they let him in ( mind you I have no connections at this lounge whatsoever). The DJ is excellent and very receptive if you ask for a change of music.
One of the best things however is NO COVER CHARGE..which I think is pretty awesome. It means I can buy more drinks (that are reasonably priced) and tip the waitresses and bartenders better.
I'd definitely recommend this place to anybody looking to have a good time on a friday night.
Pros: Great music, no cover charge, great crowd, helpful doormen, subway/parking
Cons: they close at 4..;)
