Went there Sunday 6/1/08 around 5:50 PM and we were seated about 6:00 PM. They seated a few other tables over the next 10 to 15 minutes, took their drink orders, and delivered their drinks. We finally had to ask to have someone wait on us. The person that waited on us took our food orders and brought us water. Never took our drink orders until we asked 10 minutes later. The 3 of us were very polite and patient through this ordeal. One person in our party ordered a Thai dish and the other 2 ordered sushi. About 45 minutes went buy and we politely asked our waitress if there was an issue. At that time she admitted that they were short staffed and only had 1 person available to make sushi for the entire crowed restaurant. We asked about the Thai dish and found out that it had already been made and they were waiting to bring it out with the Sushi. So we asked to have the Thai dish brought out (it was already cold) and the 3 of us devoured it (we were very hungry by then). Sometime after that we noticed several people getting upset and leaving and realized they were having some real issues. We asked our waitress if the chef had started making our order and after checking explained that nobody had started preparing our Sushi. At that point, we paid our bill and left. I believe they were experiencing some employee issues (absences). The real problem was the lack of communication by the staff. If we had been told that the sushi area was short staffed, we would have ordered Thai food. Instead, we wasted an entire evening. Nobody deserves that type of treatment. We were there almost 2 hours and had to leave hungry. I am going to wait a couple of years before giving them another try. I am hoping they will correct their management issues by then.
