My car was repaired in this shop because my insurance agency had it as there prefered. I was new to the area and though my insurance company would have picked a good place to take it. I am sure the work they did on the vehicle might be great but that can not make up for common respect and lack of putting the customer first. I needed to get my car out of the shop and needed to give them 2 checks as my nephew had passed and the car I was driving was a road hassard, one they could look out there window and see was not fit to put anyone in, but I needed it out to take me and my three children to the funeral it had no air condition the brakes were bad, so I needed to get my new car out of the shop. I offered them a check for 250.00 that day Wen. and another for 250.00 on Mon. the next week and I explained that I needed the money to get the gas to drive the 600+ miles to get to the funeral that way there would be no problem with the check and I could still have enough to pay for the gas to get there. First they refused to do that then they refused to take my check as it was from my La bank out of town. I moved her to go to school I work hard for a living and do my best as a single parent it is not always easy I would have loved to pay for the car, but what can you do when you are new in town and know no one. This was a funeral that could have been verified that I was telling the truth and the fact that it would have been safer for my kids to ride in a sound car should have been considered. However the world now revolves around everyone for them selves instead caring and helping people around you, and if that is the way they run there business they will get no more of mine. I am a business owner I am glad that sometimes I may have to help someone out to help them get what they need and that things happen which are neither forseeable or planned, but I have found helping someone only helps your business not hurt it!!
