North Oak Cliff is the hippest area of town. Bishop Arts has unique shops and cafes. The Nodding Dog is certainly one of them. Breakfast is what I usually have. I bring my dog and sit on the porch and smoke. Cheesy hashbrowns were a delightful surprise. People are unique in the cliff as well and people watching is an added bonus. If you seek an 'un-Dallas' vibe in Dallas, head to Bishop Arts. Any ethnicity, gay, straight, or other. N. OC is the only place in Dallas I see this kind of mingling. BTW.. in ref. to other review.
