Our Family goes to the Texan every Tuesday night. We even have our own table. Roger and the girls treat us like royalty. They know all of our names and have our booster seats waiting for us. I have to admit I order the salmon every single time but it us soo good. We love the fried green tomatoes and the catfish. Also they have THE BEST macaroni-n-cheese in Austin (yes better than Galaxy) and dessert ? Debbie?s Pie. There is a case full of the mot decadent things you have ever eaten. All of my friends and coworkers want to meet at the Texan for lunch. And they also have pie happy hour from 3-5 weekdays (not sure if it?s every weekday) but that?s like $3 for a big soda and pie. You can catch me and the girls there some afternoons.
