I found this place on here, citysearch, read the reviews, thought what the hey, and decided to try the local sushi place rather than go into LA. My first impression of the place was a nice, intimate setting. it had a very nice ambiance, not too bright, not too dark. my wife thought it was romantic. service was prompted. we sat in the opposite corner of the restaurant from the sushi bar, but the chefs behind the bar seem very friendly and animated. every once in a while, they'd all give a loud shout-out beer-toast with the patrons sitting at the bar. very fun. the two sushi rolls we ordered were good. we tried the kobe beef tataki to see what kobe beef was all about. not recommended. I had better, a long time ago, elsewhere. $19 for 5 small, thin slices. their sashimi is good too.
Pros: ambience, service was very friendly
Cons: none
