Really, this has turned into a nightmare. At this point I've paid a lot more than the price I was quoted and am trying to clear up a few "clerical errors" that would have me pay a few hundred dollars more. My advice if you insist on working with them: calculate all the numbers yourself, measure the volume of your items yourself, keep a clear track of what goes on the truck, and really, really consider using another mover. It started out well - they came to my place, looked over all my things and gave me what I thought was a fair estimate (based on volume) to move everything. He even "estimated high" to make sure the real price won't be more than the quote. On the day of the move, there were so many errors. The actual price was way higher - it turns out they both underestimated the volume during the quote and then over-estimated the volume on the truck. After a lot of arguements and denials of wrong-doing on their part, I actually went into the truck with a tape measure and got the actual volume, they then grudgingly agree to only charge me for what I actually am moving. But they are trying to charge me more for the boxes and tape and other material than was originally quoted - so I'm fighting this. I should also point out that they damaged my walls and doors with only a shrug and grunt when I pointed it out. The stuff arrived within 2 weeks, but a few items were missing. I'm trying to figure out how to get all my stuff back. Overall they have been unprofessional and irresponsible and I regret choosing them!
Pros: They were timely
Cons: sleazy, irresponsible, kept making mistakes that cost me money
