My schnauzer had a knee cap that kept popping out of place from and injury. It never heeled properly, and she was limping and in a lot of pain. I couldn't find a vet anywhere to do the surgery. Dr. shields came highly recommended, and in my opinion, he did a fantastic job. My dog heeled quickly with little or no pain and no infection. She has never limped again, and has resumed her job of keeping the rabbits and squirrels out of my yard.This was a big surgery, and i was very nervous about leaving my dog, but the staff were so friendly and professional. Dr. shields was very kind and gentle to my dog, and was very specific about what he was going to do and went out of his way to ease my fears.
