After reading nothing but great reviews about this restaurant, I knew I had to give it a try. Also, I just recently bought a house 5 minutes away so my girlfriend and I were excited. First off, let me just say that I usually don't care about location, service or ambiance as much as plain ole good food. However, this is the first time in a long time that I didn't even care about the food, but rather was quite upset at the overall service that I received at this restaurant. We ate there on a friday night, and the restaurant had medium capacity. It was by all means not ""busy"". We sat down, ordered our food and waited. We then waited and waited and waited some more. there were 3 groups of people that sat down after us. and proceeded to order. We didn't think much of it until they all received their food before us. I wondered what the problem was and did notice that all 3 of those customer's were white and we were not. Was it a coincidence? Maybe. But after an hour of waiting, I could not take it anymore, I politely asked the waiter what's going on and he all he said to me was that my food was coming. There was no single apology or anything. I am not a rude person, I didn't cause a scene, I simply paid for my meal and left, promising to never return again. As for the food? I couldn't really tell if it was good or not, I just couldn't focus on it. It definitely wasn't the best or I would have forgotten about the service. I hope the restaurant reads this because they lost themselves a life long customer.
