I love the food. Me and my ""pseudo bf"" John went one tuesday and had a great time of authenticating this white place of modern decor - truly, a great asian fusion to have a dinner date. The wait staff is great (thanks for checking my ID for the Japense beer - made me feel very young) and the food is above expectations: I had the short rib korean style with a mixture of a peanut base noodle and he had a seared duck with sticky rice and chinese sausage. The price may be more than what you ordinarily pay in Koreatown and Chinatown - but the portion is not sacrificed for it - moreover, the sweet, succulent and spicy flavor of infused Western influence in a seemingly decorated restaurant. So, it a real thumbs up for Bar Q - with a seal of approval from my man.
