All of my experiences with Continental Arms has been very positive. The staff are knowledgeable and if you go when there isn't a crowd of people at the counter, they will take the time to share some of that with you. After only two visits they recognized me and would pick up prior conversations where we left off. I've purchased several new handguns from them, and several cases of ammo. For one purchase, they had to track down the specific handgun and finish that I wanted - and with Maryland legal requirements for integrated locks and spent casings, that turned out to be a complicated matter. They had it within two weeks. After shopping around, I have found that their prices are quite good for Maryland. I definitely recommend the unlimited range time package - single or family. It will pay for itself in a few months if you go regularly. If you do something stupid in their store, be prepared to get called on it. They have a ""wall of shame"" for people that do things like: enter store with loaded gun in hand, that repeatedly shoot down target lines, etc. Please note that this isn't the place for people who are very high strung or impatient - there have been a few times they confused me with other customers or thought they had called me when they hadn't. If that sort of thing drives you crazy and you can't let it drop, go someplace else. If you prefer to deal with people that take their work personally (and all that entails) - Continental Arms is a rare find.
Pros: Informal atmosphere - with good prices and friendly, personable, knowledgable staff.
Cons: Informal atmosphere - meaning staff can become confused or forgetful when busy.
