Age was catching up to me! I was creaky in the mornings. Friends & coworkers were having back, knee, hip and shoulder problems. Pains, surgery and physical therapy were constant topics of conversation. So I jumped at the chance to try an ""awesome"" yoga class. It was and is an awesome class! The atmosphere is accepting, encouraging and problem solving. If you can't do it one way, there are other ways to try. If you need to rest, then do so and then rejoin. Do what you can and you will do better as time goes on. I have been going about twice a week for 18 months. The work is challenging, ever changing and rejuvenating. Results were felt almost immediately. The creakiness was the first to go, my posture and balance have improved. I feel more core strength and of course I am more flexible. Just do it!
