You wont get five star food or service however the Nantucket is a five star experience. From finding your way there to rustic waterfront dining, it is a great adventure. I think the best time to go is during the day when it's sunny and not too windy so you can eat outside. It really does feels like walking into a different time-line when you go down there. It is true that the food isn't great but I've had friends who ate there every day while they were building that bridge and they're all still here. And I did have a very nasty waitress one time but personnel change and when you look at the big picture the restaurant and the location is unique enough to make the trip at least once. There's a gravel parking lot, train tracks to cross and a boat dock, so high heels are not recommended.
