I have lived in the Heather Stone Community located in Beach Park, IL. We bought our home in April of 2004 and our neighbors moved in around June of 2004. They have 9 kids living in the home with the two parents. The first week after moving in they had their two oldest sons girl friends and their two 3 year old boys living with them. The two 3 year olds would constantly be unattended walking down the street. The property was a total mess with grass 8"" high and garbage and gum everywhere. The windows had sheets over them until 6 months ago when the put mini blinds up on 3 windows. The house has no air conditioning so, during hot days I could not even sleep with my windows open because the noise was so loud. The screens from the house were destroyed and laying all over the property along with a trampoline and basketball hoop that were falling apart and unsafe. From the back yard patio door you could see black garbage bags stacked up in the kitchen against the wall 4 feet high. All this time I was in contact with Foster Premier and the Village of Beach Park. NOTHING has ever been done. FINALLY on the 15th of May the family moved out leaving the house and the property in total disarray. The garage is full of garbage and the inside of the house is trashed. For the past 4 years I have been imbarrassed to have family and friends over due to the neighbors next door. I have had NO help from either Foster Premier or the Village of Beach Park. Now I have been putting in a NEW patio which will make my property look NICER and I received a $50.00 VIOLATION and a STOP WORK order from Beach Park because I did not obtain a permit. I wanted to finish so I could have family over now that the neighbors are gone but the patio has to be approved by Foster Premiers board of directors before the permit can be approved. And that could take upto two weeks. I guess I pay $8000.00 a year in taxes to have someone else tell me if I can build a patio.
Cons: Everything I would suggest not using them
