False Advertising 4/14/2008

On Monday April 14 2008, my husband and I went to the Home Depot on Walnut Street in Lebanon, Pa. We were looking at sky lights for our home. We came across the Anderson Sky Light marked down from $355.00 to $88.00. We thought this had to be a mistake so we TRIED to find a salesperson. After about a 30 minute wait, someone came to answer our questions. The salesman assured us that the price was correct so we decided to purchase the sky light. When we got to the register, the cashier scanned the sku bar and the price came up $355.00. We told her that was NOT right, and my husband went to the shelf to get the price tag off the shelf to show her. She said that the sku numbers did not match so she could not give it to us at the price that was advertised on the shelf. At this point, my husband was so disgusted with the service that we left without the sky light. We believe that the shelf price should have been honored.
