Over several years I have always had positive experiences at Jan's with both our small and large dogs. I understand that they work primarily by appointment, with walk-ins as time allows. It can take some time to correctly bathe even short coated breeds, again correctly. If you want a rushed, not-so-exacting or compassionate job, I'm sure you could check out some other places. I have experienced some of those, and had traumatized animals as a result. All dogs are not created equal, some may seem nice and are not. No way of knowing which is which regardless of what the dog owner may express. The people at Jan's have many years of experience, compassion and understanding for both dog and owner. I have and will continue to refer people to Jan's for their grooming needs.
