Like every other world class health care facility in Boston the quality of care that you will receive at Angell is dependent upon the individual doctor treating the patient. In my case, the veterinarian that I chose for my dog, "one of the biggest internists on the East coast," delivered care that was completely unacceptable to me. While he may be board certified, his clinical care standards were poor at best as he left both interns and his vet tech to manage the care of my very ill animal. Speaking to him directly was almost impossible and discussing the poor quality of care with him directly was pointless as he was already aware of his own limitations and made no apologies.
