I needed a root canal, and was referred to Oakwood Endodontics. Before my last visit to the dentist I had never even had a cavity, so I was pretty clueless as to what a root canal was. The very first visit there was a misunderstanding, even though I called ahead to make sure they knew the reason I was there, somehow, Dr. Strong didn't know. (?) Well, he couldn't perform the procedure that day so I had to make an appointment several weeks from that day (again). When the day of my second appointment finally came, I went in, they gave me a root canal (which I thought was the end of it) and the assistant let me know as I was walking out that I needed to schedule an appointment with my regular dentist to have a permanent filling because they only put a temporary one in. Surprised that I had to have something else done after that expensive procedure, I asked how much she thought it would be and she said around two hundred dollars. I thought, ok well that isn't terrible, but not good. I then called a regular dentist to get a ""permanent filling"", and she let me know that I needed a filling and a crown that would cost a thousand dollars. The point to my long story is that I would not recommend going to Oakwood Endodontics and if you do, make sure to ask many questions because they don't tell you anything.
