Took them 5 mo.s to do work promised in 2. Every time I called they ""were away at boat show"". When I did get them they acted annoyed that I dared to ask when long-ago promised tasks were to actually be completed. Took them 2mo.s to provide estimate. Then they billed me 52% more than estimate with no warning or discussion, even after confirming it was on budget three days before final billing. Asked them for an explantion and offered to split the diff in July 2007. They did not even respond to that till Feb 2008. And with no comprehension whatsoever of my dissastisfaction with the variance between estimate and billing. No consideration on their part whatesoever as professional courtesy to absorb some of the difference, never mind discuss it. Not just discourteous; but plain unfriendly that I dared to ask for an exp-lanation, which they never provided. All of this is documented in correspondence.\r

On the bright side, I am grateful for much advice given by others in their yard enduring similar experiences and attitudes; further advice ""to run"" on internet, and from major marine engine manufacturer to not let them do addtional work on boat or touch my engine. I got out of this yard fast, per good advice, paid them off and not looking back.
Cons: service yard: nothing done when or as promised
