I'm assuming most of the people who are writing all the positive reviews are Southerners who have never had truly good Mexican food. The food at El Rodeo is - AT BEST - average. The quality has varied the several times I've gone, and the quality and atmosphere differs depending on which one you go to. The one on Wake Forest is straight-up depressing. \r

If you're looking for Burritos, the best place I've found in Raleigh is Baja Burrito. If you're looking for high quality Mexican food with a great vibe, the best choice by a mile is Dos Taquitos.
