On my first and last visit with ""Dr."" Simotas, she greeted me and my husband by asking us if we had maternity insurance and if we were going to have a baby, how we were planning on paying for it. Mind you the reason I was there was for left lower pelvic pain and nothing to do with getting pregnant. Little did she know that my husband is a doctor and we would pay cash should I get pregnant. The fact is that the topic of pregnancy was not the reason for my visit, but she did not listen at all to what my complaints were, never took a history, never palpated my abdomen or explained to me what could be causing the symptoms. In fact she said to me ""I would be guessing just like you."" When I told her to look at my ultrasound results which my GP had ordered for me, she dismissed the results and basically told me that they meant nothing even though it showed a 9mm cyst on my left ovary and a slightly enlarged uterus. Her continued response to me was if I could deal with the pain or if I wanted surgery. She never answered our question of what was causing the pain. What would I be having surgery on? She insisted it wasn't the cyst or the enlarged uterus but never said what it was. She made me feel very uncomfortable and made me cry the entire way home because I got no answers. It was a wasted visit. She is very confrontational when asked questions, and I don't know about anyone else but anything concerning my body, I will ask questions.

Cons: you don't feel cared about by the doctor.
