I have driven past Reo's several times and finally decided to try it. I got the sampler for $15, which includes pork roast, beef brisket, a beef rib, a pork rib, a piece of chicken, and 3 sides. I chose mac and cheese and 2 portions of the collard greens for the sides. The meat itself is very poor quality. Obviously, it does not require prime grade meat for BBQ, but the meat used is fat and bones. The brisket and the pork roast has absolutely no smoke penetration. The meat was simply burned in the smoker. I got about 3 tablespoons apiece of the sides I ordered. The collard greens were either canned, or cooked way too long. Obviously, no smoked pork was used to flavor the greens, just hot sauce. The mac and cheese was fine. If you are from anywhere in the country that has good BBQ, do not waste your money at this dump. The articles about this place tend to think it?s so interesting that someone would move from Mississippi and open a BBQ in Aloha, Oregon of all places. The reason for this is that if this place were anywhere in the south, it would be out of business in two weeks.
Pros: mac and cheese was edible
Cons: everything else
