Receptionists were very abrupt the 3 times I called, when I showed up the place stunk like chemicals. I wasn't showed where to wait. Although I asked, I wasn't given any information on how to prepare for my first Brazilian wax. As a result, Wanda, who prides herself on 12 minutes brazilians, didn't take the time to trim the hair on my left side and, as she explained, the hair gets matted in the wax if it is too long and is more painful to remove. Rather than taking two seconds to trim this first side, she just ripped it off. As a follow-up 24-hours later, the swelling has gone down enough to let me see that because of the technicians rush and lack of care in trimming the hair on the left side, a layer of skin was actually ripped off of my left labia, leaving it red and raw. Yeah, ouch - torture actually. Doesn't get much worse than that! Really bad experience. I will never go back and have no idea how it got voted best spa in Boulder!
