Having gone in to the Brass Cap shortly after it opened, I must say this place has improved dramatically!!! The food and the service the first time where lack luster at best!!! Which is a shame because it's so close to my boyfriend and I's apartment. I went there for a friends birthday and was disappointed with just about everything expect the cool interior. So, deciding to give this place another shot, I met a group of friends there on Friday and was presently surprised!!! Which might be the reason the place was packed!!! Despite the crowd Michael, whom is the maiterd, was warm and welcoming at the front door and seated us promptly at a great table. We actually needed our reservation, which was a suprise. The first time around you could have heard a pin drop. Our sever was cool, and seemed much more knowledgeable about everything and was on it this time round. I'm not sure if they adjusted their pricing recently but it seemed much more reasonable than my first experience and priced like a neighborhood restaurant should be. The wine list also seemed to have more affordable options, which is cool cuz my boyfriend and I love to share a bottle over dinner. In fact the server recommended this great inexpensive malbec that everyone loved. What ever there doing I hope they keep it up!! I've convinced my skeptic boyfriend to take me on a date there next weekend!!! We'll see how it goes.
Pros: Cool Music, Candle Light, Fun Service
Cons: A lil Loud, No Parking except Valet
