I took my portable DVD to Audio Wizard for repairs in July of 2007. My kids use it for road trips. It worked fine except for the eject function. Audio Wizard charges $39 just to look at it. I paid around $100 for it to be repaired. I don't think that the eject function worked more than once before it started doing the same thing again. The kids reminded me in January of 2008 when I took it back in before the next road trip. The owner was rude on the phone and rude when I walked into his shop with it to explain that the repair didn't last but maybe one or two uses. He catatonically rehearsed his ""30 day warranty"" and ""$39 to look at it"" script and stared me in the face. I would never take anything to this guy again. I sincerely doubt that he put anywhere near $100 worth of work and/or labor into the eject repair and clearly could have cared less about the result.
