I don't know how it started, but I made a habit of making lil' frankie's my solo dinner spot. I go in and order a glass of wine and relax. I usually order whatever pasta special they have... A whole pizza is hard to finish by yourself. The food is simple and delicious. The service can be slow but that's fine by me because I never feel rushed to order, or rushed to leave (even though it's always crowded). As a ""solo diner"", I often feel neglected by restaurants, or urged to eat and leave quickly to free up the table for another party, which is understandable, but I'm impressed that that sort of attitude doesn't exist at Lil' Frankie's. It's comforting.
Pros: ravioli, relaxed atmosphere, reasonably priced
Cons: sometimes too crowded
