A trainer at Riverdog recommended Basic 101 Obedience for my dogs, even though I told her that they had already taken a puppy obedience class, and even though when I took them in for evaluation, she did nothing more than look at them and play with them. (She did not run any commands by them.) Anyway, I took her advice, and enrolled them at an expense of $350 for the class, which turned out to be VERY BASIC. Dogs in that class didn't even know how to sit. My dogs already knew sit, lie down, stay, drop it, leave it, right here, wait, etc. The trainer for the Basic class also was very inexperienced -- this was her very first class she taught at Riverdog.\r

What eventually ended up happening is that we now only get a $15 credit per dog for the remaining classes to use toward another class or private lesson.
