I visited the Skin Institute for the first time a couple weeks ago. It is located in an older office building. The spa itself is very small, maybe 700 square feet. It is cluttered and very cramped. I wanted to relax during my facial, but the woman kept talking my ear off and some guy kept walking in and out of the office (which, by the way, you can hear everyone, as they use curtins as doors). I've visited several spas between Miami and LA and I definaely will not return to this one. It just felt like someone decided one day to open a spa.
Pros: Free parking, friendly staff
Cons: Office was cramped, wasn't relaxing, didn't feel like a real spa, more like a garage
