I used to run a sushi critic website some yrs ago as a hobby. Moving to las vegas, I was happy to see so many sushi places to choose from - and still enjoy trying them out. But I must agree, when it comes to value and quality Narita is very hard to beat. It is my ""home"" sushi place, and I eat lunch there alone often. Yes, sometimes service gets easily overwhelmed...but the place is small and its worth the wait. The owner/chef is making the sushi - you forgive it on the rare occasion it happens.
After all, it happens because ppl have found how good it is and crowd the small place once in awhile. Especially weekend dinner service. This is why I eat LUNCH alone in peace and tranquility.
Pros: nigiri size and quality, best spicy tuna roll on planet, lunch specials are fabulous value
Cons: service overwhelmed on occasion, so they might miss your salad
