I worked for Pierce County and the people I worked for were really nice people, but I was making about $8.50 per hour on most sites. I was told that because it was Pierce county the pay was lower. I found out other companies in Pierce county pay an average of $10.00. With Pierce county you had to really work hard to find a site that paid $10.00, like the welfare office Tacoma or Seattle.
