Petite Pooch has gone down hill! When I first found them I was very pleased. They seemed friendly and my pup enjoyed going to hang out with friends. Things have definitely changed! My pup's last two experiences have been just awful. I took my little (70 lb) angel in a couple of months ago while her father and I went out of town. We didn't think anything of it as this is the only boarder that we have ever used. A few days after we picked her up, we noticed that she seemed to be scratching at herself A LOT. We checked it out and she was COVERED in fleas. It was so bad that we had to pay an exterminator to come to our home, have the grass treated, and my poor pup had to have 4 treatments to get rid of them all. Although I was upset, I gave Petite Pooch the benefit of the doubt and took her back this past weekend for an overnight stay. It didn't start off very well. When my husband went to leave she tried to run out behind him as if to say ""Please don't leave me here Dad."" He thought that maybe she was just a little nervous, so he reassured her and left. When I picked her up the next day she could not have been happier to see me (which of course made me feel good). We went home and my husband noticed that she was keeping her tail tucked. He tried to lift it and she yelped and snapped at him. I understand that things can happen, but if she got into a fight with another dog or someone accidentally shut the kennel door on her tail I think I should be informed of this when I pick her up. Within a few hours she began getting sick to her stomach which lasted for about 18 hours. As if it isn't bad enough that her tail may be broken, now she can't keep anything in her tummy. And then to top it all off...SHE HAS FLEAS AGAIN! My advice is to run as far away as fast as you can from this place before your baby becomes a victim too. I know my angel will never go back.
