Usually when you go to a restaurant on a Monday night, few people are there and you can enjoy a quiet dinner. When we went to Metro 8 to celebrate a birthday, there were only a few other tables being used. We were sitting by ourselves for a few minutes until two people came in, who were seated right next to us. And the woman at that table could talk. By the end of the evening, I knew many things about her. I have no idea why the restaurant did that when there were plenty of other tables so each of us could have a quiet evening. That being said, this was the only complaint of the restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious. We started with the spinach dip which came to us very hot, which was nice on a cold evening. It was served with very warm tortilla chips. I got a churacco steak and fries, both of which were excellent. She got the fettucine which she loved, but I only thought it was okay when trying it. The crepe for dessert was delicious as well. Overall it was a great night and I plan on going back.
Pros: Great food
Cons: On a non-busy night, spread the tables out.
