I am puzzled by the bad reviews, especially regarding service. The place is open late and never crowded; my water glass was filled constantly. I have driven miles to come to Star of India just to eat mainly because there is no ""knuckle meat"", as I call it... weird bony inedible pieces of meat. The chicken is tender, the rice and naan are fluffy. And you even get a $15 off coupon always. The atmosphere is not hip or special, but it is clean and classy for a hole in the wall. If you want atmosphere (and a slightly larger tab) try Electric Lotus, but certainly Star of India is recommended.
Pros: Best food, never a wait, open late, full water glasses, 15% off coupon.
