The Grant Park Cooperative Preschool (GPCP) is a Reggio Emilia inspired practice which garners great learning achievement in young children. I've been involved with the school for several years and have found a great deal of comfort and satisfaction with the education and loving care that my children receive there. The teachers are loving and well educated and participate in professional development far beyond what is required for the field. The Reggio approach that the school utilizes to form the curriculum recognizes each child as a unique, creative individual full of ideas and competencies. The school has transformed my way of thinking about education and, having experienced other preschools and child care centers before finding GPCP, I am thrilled to be a part of this innovative school.
