Service Department is very unhelpful. I am very dissatisfied with their ability to help.\r

Last Friday I had a light go out in the center console of my Mazda 6. I called Doug?s Lynnwood Mazda service department on that day and they were already closed. Then I called Saturday and they said the service department was closed Saturday and to wait till Monday to schedule an appointment. When I called back Monday to schedule an appointment they said the warranty ran out. Guess when it ran out? SUNDAY!!! I said well I called you guys Friday and Saturday to set something up but you were closed and you guys told me to wait till Monday to schedule something. They wouldn?t help me out and when I asked to speak to the manager the manager wouldn?t even think about it or try to help out in anyway. I told them the problem started before the warranty ran out and it wasn?t my fault. The head manager Jerry said, ?Well I was here for 12 hours on Friday.? I told him that his front desk lady said service was closed so I couldn?t talk to anyone anyway. I called at about 530. In the end they said sorry the warranty is out. I believe that is just bad customer service to not even consider helping out a long time customer. \r

This isn?t the first time that the service department has failed to satisfy me. A few years ago I came in because the check engine light came on. When I took it in they said it was just a gas cap leak so just tighten the gas cap and the turned off the check engine light. Well of course the check engine light came back on and I had to take it in again. Then the service department tried to change the gas cap with a new one and sent me on my way. Again the check engine light came on and come time find that the gas cap they put on wasn?t even for a Mazda 6. \r
