I spent almost $10,000 at Hudson Appliance last year. Now, one year and one month later, my supposed top of the line, highly recommended by the salesperson, LG refrigerator started making this loud noise and stopped working. I called Hudson Appliance and they told me there was nothing they could do, I could make an appt with the service people and pay to have it fixed Mind you, when I was purchasing they said they stand behind their products 100%, they go above and beyond, blah blah blah....I was never offered an option to purchase an extended warranty, and when I tried to after the fact I could not buy one. I spent $2400 on a fridge that crapped out on me, spoiled upwards of $500 in food in my fridge/freezer. This happened on a Tuesday and the fastest turn around the service guys could give me was Saturday. I'm very afraid about the rest of the appliances I purchased there now. Needless to say, I will NEVER use them again, and I want to warn anyone against using them. They used to be a small home town business, but they have gotten a few large contracts (ie, the new over 55 condo's on Main St - the Esplanade is one example) and now they don't care anymore about the single home owner, they are only in it for the large contractors!
