My girlfriend and I decided to dine for lunch at The Front Porch Cafe after visiting the polls. We were seated and preceded to wait about ten minutes for a server. When she finally came remotely close to our table she informed us we would be waiting another minute. They must have been busy with the other ten guests in the dining room. Eventually another lady...maybe a server maybe a manager( noone ever introduced themselves or even said hello for that matter) came by to take our drink order. I ordered a coffee and an icewater and my girlfriend had some hot fruit tea. When our drinks arrived in two trips I noticed my water had a very funny smell, very musky. I was then ignored by one of the confused people who I believe was our server for several minutes. I flagged down another lady and politely ask for a bottle of water. She was interested why and I told her. She was obviously offended and became hostile. When she returned with another water she stood there and said, ""I''ve gotta see this""?? who knows what she was talking about. I informed her I had been working in food and beverage for years and these things happen, in hopes of calming her down. Then our food arrived and it was ok. When I say ok I mean it didn't smell of filth like the water. About half way through our meal a man who I'm guessing was the manager, he never introduced himself either, stomped up threw his hands on the table leaned over the table in my face and said, ""Is there a problem with the water today?"" I was very taken back. I told him it smelled and tasted bad but it was really no big deal. He was very hostile and offered nothing to the situation except animosity. He then stomped off. The server eventually dropped the check. This experience was horrible. I've eaten here before and wasn't all that impressed but I won't be giving this establishment another chance. The worst service and treatment I have ever recieved anywhere. Good luck...
