We've been going to this restaurant for a couple of yrs. and were always impressed with the food, price and for the most part, service. Food has always been quite consistent. Now they're under new ownership (too bad for Treo). We visited Treo Tues. (10/21/08) it was like a ghost town inside. Tues. used to be kids eat free w/paying adult and as we were being seated I asked the hostess if this was still the case, to which she confirmed yes, it is. After waiting 45 mins. and still not having any food we inquired about our food and the waitress asked if she could get some fries for us (my friend and I thought she was going to comp same). It didn't even appear as though they were cooking anything in the kitchen. They finally were getting our food out to us and dropped my burger. The Mgr came to our table and apologized and said they'd bring the rest of the food immed. and would get my burgher out asap. They were quick getting my burger out and the Mgr brought it to the table and said he'd ""take care of it.? We rec'd our bill - $35 for 2 kids meals (burgers), 2 adult burgers and our fries. I told the waitress we were told it was kids night as we were being seated by the hostess to which she exclaimed, ""we don't do that anymore."" I told her the Mgr. said he'd take care of my burger and questioned why we were being charged for the fries. The waitress returned and said the Mgr. said he'd comp my burger but that's all he'd do for us. Apparently, the new change of management has NOT been a positive change for Treo. It used to be very busy on kids nights, but there were maybe 12 people at the restaurant the eve. we visited which is still perplexing why it took so long to get our food out to us and yet another reason Treo should have been a little more customer friendly. They really screwed up the night we visited and in this economy negative restaurant service is a VERY bad thing! Rots a Ruck, Treo!!!
